Cpl Physicians have recently partnered with a privately owned Clinical Research Organisation for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industry who are currently in the market for a APRN / Sub Investigator to serve as the site lead on their upcoming clinical trial programs. This is a great opportunity to work autonomously and develop your career with several exciting clinical trials to lead on.

This position is responsible for:

  • Promoting good clinical practice in the conduct of clinical investigations
  • Ensure adherence to protocol requirements, protecting the rights and welfare of subjects, assuring the integrity of data generated at the site and directing the conduct of the clinical investigation according to federal and state regulations and guidance documents
  • Responsible for coordinating clinical trials according to protocol and with Good Clinical Practice
  • Work with team members to facilitate patient enrolment and retention
  • Conduct patient visits and complete Case Report Forms (CRFs)
  • Complete Regulatory documents as requested for the assigned protocols
  • Visit activities include but are not limited to phlebotomy, complete vital signs, ECGs, and other procedures as trained
  • Attend PI meetings as requested 
  • Responsible for the activities related to documentation of clinical research visits from the source documents onto paper CRF’s (case report forms) and/or eCRF (electronic case report forms) with accuracy
  • Completing queries generated by CRA (clinical research associate) and/or sponsor
  • Creating source documents from sponsor supplied CRF’s/protocols and flow sheets
  • Assist with recruitment efforts when necessary

Experience needed:

  • APRN Degree from a licensed and accredited school with an active license
  • IATA/HAZMAT Certification / CIIT training or comparable certificate
  • Understanding of all clinical areas / healthcare environment, specifically in the area of Internal Medicine
  • Prior Clinical Research experience is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
