Cpl Physicians have partnered with a leading Oncology Global Healthcare company specialized in delivering highly scientific data across the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industry. This organization continue to grow year on year and have a newly created position in their research unit. Seeking a Medical Director for Oncology Clinical Research, this physician or scientist will lead on several early-stage projects working closely with the highly experienced leadership team which consists of industry leaders and Oncologists.
This position will provide research and clinical leadership to cross functional teams that continue to grow. As an Oncology scientific expert, you will work closely with new products in development and translate the information across to stakeholders and life science partners. This newly created team will continue to expand and can likely offer leadership opportunities long term.
Responsibilities will include:
Working with cross functional teams to provide high level scientific oncology data insights
Develop new clinical research products that will define the clinical trial landscape both across the US and globally
Support the leadership team as they look to navigate expansion into new areas
Responsible for ensuring clinical information is scientifically accurate in order to develop research solutions that will provide value to the industry
Lead on several existing and new projects in early and late phase development
Provide Clinical Research expertise combining the use of technology and medicine
Provide Oncology specific training to co-workers and external stakeholders
Requirements:
MD, PhD or PharmD
Prior pharmaceutical industry experience essential
Oncology experience essential
Ability to explain scientific and clinical concepts to a non-medical audience with a drive to work cross functionally
Excellent communication skills
Medical Monitoring experience
