This organization are continually growing and have created a new position that will report directly into the Executive Medical Director. As Senior Medical Director Global Medical Affairs, you will have a high level of cross functional responsibility and will work across their entire Alzheimer’s Disease portfolio. This role will involve Publication Planning, Evidence Generation, content for MSL training, preparation for an upcoming launch and working directly with advocacy groups to ensure the correct message is being delivered.
Responsible for the planning and execution of this launch will also see you deliver on mapping out the patient journey and interacting closely with patient advocacy groups. This unique role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively across multiple functions and provides long term progression.
Responsibilities will include:
· Responsible for supporting with a global launch in Neurology
· Develop and roll out content for field-based training and other cross functional teams
· As the disease area expert, you will provide medical management and a high level of scientific integrity, driving innovation and patient focused healthcare
· Attendance at all major conferences including medical and scientific advisory boards
· Provide expertise and medical input into life cycle management
· Develop Global Medical Affairs strategy to include post market research
· Collaborate cross functionally with the wider business, using additional resources where needed
· Highly patient focused while also driving innovation
Requirements:
· MD or PhD
· 4+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
· Neurology experience essential with a background in Alzheimer’s / Dementia
· Global Medical Affairs experience
· Strategic Medical Affairs background with the ability to develop new training material and SOPs for cross functional teams
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
