Would you like to be at the forefront of advancing a deep pipeline of therapeutics against some of the most important cytokine targets focused in Oncology & Autoimmunity? If so, we currently have a Vice President Clinical Development Oncology Cell Therapy role working for a development stage biotherapeutics company focused on the engineering of novel specific, selective and potent cytokine therapies. Their targeted protein engineering guided by their deep experience in immunology provides transformative immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune disorders.

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the clinical strategies for their Oncology programs and will line manage a growing team. In addition to this you will be responsible for leading clinical programs and delivering innovative, high-quality clinical study designs and development plans. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and leadership team, this role will grow in its responsibility and is a pivotal addition to the business.

Focused on Early Phase Cell Therapy development, this is a fantastic opportunity for both MD & PhDs in the industry to progress with a heavily funded biotechnology company.

Responsibilities will include:
Develop and advance a Clinical Development strategy and plan for their Oncology programs, designing and implementing phase I-III clinical studies
Line manage a cross function clinical development team
Responsible for the clinical content of all regulatory and clinical documents
Analyse clinical data, including safety monitoring collaborating with cross functional teams
Represent the company at scientific meetings and presentations
Develop and review clinical trial protocols while acting as the medical lead for assigned programs
Provide scientific evidence generation and scientific information exchange with KOLs
Responsible for budget planning and integration into department and company strategic financial objectives

Requirements:
MD with 7+ years experience in the industry or PhD with 10+ years experience in the industry
Clinical trial experience in phase I-III studies in Oncology
Prior line management experience of medical/clinical teams
Experience in biomarker development and validation
Cell Therapy or Cytokine therapeutic expertise would be preferred but not essential
Proven track record of success in executing development programs in Oncology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
