Yvette Cleland
– CEO

Yvette Cleland worked in the pharmaceutical industry for eight years at Janssen, part of J&J. In 1999 she moved to professional staffing and went on to build contract and permanent teams throughout the UK for many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.

In 2012 she joined Clinical Professionals as Group Managing Director to drive growth, expand the brand portfolio and geographic foot print of the business. In 2015 under her leadership the business was acquired by CPL Resourcing. In 2017 she lead the expansion of the business into the US.

Today Yvette is CEO for the Clinical Professionals Group, an award winning organisation that has also featured in the Telegraph and Daily Mail as an innovator in the staffing industry. Yvette is APBI qualified with a pharma MBA.

Glen Hall
– COO

Glen qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999 with KPMG where he worked for 7 years.

Since leaving KPMG, Glen has held a number of senior finance positions, including Randstad, where he led the UK Finance team.

Glen joined Clinical Professionals in 2012 and has worked closely with Yvette Cleland to successfully grow the business.

Dr Mark Edwards
– CSO

Mark is a medically-qualified (specialist training in anaesthesia and critical care) and GMC-registered drug developer with 25 years’ pharmaceutical R&D experience.

Formerly Global Clinical R&D Director and then Director of Science and Medical Public Affairs at Pfizer. He has worked at all phases of clinical development across a wide variety of therapeutic areas whilst establishing major R&D projects at interfaces between academia, NHS and the biopharma industry.

Before joining the Clinical Professionals Group as Chief Scientific Officer, Mark worked as R&D Director at The Ethical Medicines Industry Group (EMIG).

Stuart Gilboy
– Managing Director

Stuart is the Global managing Director with responsibility for our Physicians staffing business; Only Medics in the UK & EU and CPL Physicians in the US.
He is based in Boston and works mainly on search roles for Exec Directors, VPs and CMOs within bio-tech and pharma businesses.

Stuart has a wealth of experience within the staffing industry across various sectors having previously been an owner manager of his own firm and reaching Board level with a FTSE listed staffing business.
 

Suzanne Swan
– Director OM Europe

Suzanne joined Clinical Professionals in 2012 and has 14 years’ experience in the recruitment industry running both perm and contract teams.

As a Divisional Director Suzanne launched and now oversees the Scientific Professionals brand, the MedTech Professionals Brand as well the Commercial team.

Most recently she opened the Group’s newest German office and now splits her time between London and Munich.

Louise Wraight
– Director OM UK and CP Global Search

Starting her career in 2005, Louise has 12 years recruitment experience in a range of professional services and markets currently supplying Physicians within the Life Sciences Industry.

Formerly working as a Business Manager within a Commercial Staffing Consultancy; Louise joined Clinical Professionals Group in January 2015 and became a key member of the Only Medics Division.

Her main responsibilities include offering a Senior Appointments/Executive Search Solution of Senior Physicians; Management of the UK Only Medics Division and an Account Manager of specific key business clients.
